anyone got anything good to say about papantonia hotel

hi just been reading the 2 latest reviews for the papantonia and they wernt good.we will be going there on the 17th may,has anyone got any good things to say about it or has anyone stayed there this year thanks

Back in 2004 we went in it quite a lot as my brother was stopping there. Back then it was a good hotel, nice pool areas, bar near by, entertainment, childrens entertainment etc... couldn%26#39;t really complain about anything.

We also called back in for a drink at the bar in 2006 and it all looked pretty similar.

Sorry can%26#39;t give you much more about what its like in 2009 though!

I stay in Pernera each year but not at the Papantonia. I stay at The Livas apartments. The Papantonia is in a good location close to the beach. Don%26#39;t panic about the reviews - in any event its too late to change now!! Just go with an open mind and enjoy. Lots of decent restaurants in Pernera, lovely coastal walk into Protaras which will take you 20 minutes. Lots of water sports boat trips etc.

I think this will be my 11th stay at The Livas - not %26#39;posh%26#39; but down to earth %26amp; so friendly. Even if you don%26#39;t like karaoke (%26amp; I hate it) the guy who does the karaoke %26amp; BBQ night (Royce) really is very good as is the food on BBQ night. You may as well join in because you won%26#39;t get any sleep! Best rooms are 303, 304, 403, 404 (front of the apartment block) - gets the sun on the balcony most of the day (balconies very tiny though - only big enough for 2). The rest of the rooms overlook the pool and don%26#39;t get much of the sun.

I think since the Livas is fairly close to the Papantonia then any information Kath has given is pretty relevant.If none of the replies are of any help then type the word %26quot;Papantonia%26quot; in the search facility and you%26#39;ll find a bit more information from the numerous other threads about the hotel.

hi yes kaths 1st post was very helpful thanks but as i check for new replies its not relevant to know what room numbers are the best at the other one as i wont be there. my original post asked for information about papantonia so why do another asking the same thing.
