Hi, i hav previously stayed in the Arsinoe %26amp; i am returning this September as i had such a good stay!!
From the arsinoe, it takes roughly 10 minutes by taxi/BUS/car to the old town of Limassol.
NOTE: The Number 30 bus has a stop right outside the hotel and all along the sea front to take you to the centre.
The hotel has lots of bars %26amp; resturants close by with great food and great night life!
The arsinoe is welcomming, very helpful and pleasant staff, clean %26amp; comfortable. If you choose to eat in the hotel at night, the food is served as a hot buffet with additional cold foods/salads. Very varied, tasty %26amp; fresh food! Entertainment in the hotel ranges from Kareoke, quiz nights, traditional cypriot dancing and live music.
The hotel has 2 pools: 1 pool is your basic swimming pool which is ideal for swimming lenghts whilst the other pool is more for families. The arsinoe also has pool table, arcade games, internet access(coin opperated), gym, sauna %26amp; more.
Hope you have a great holiday! Try 2 visit aphrodites rock and try to buy a small guide book on Cyprus which i purchased from Ebay costing £2/3%26#39;s, it will also help you on your holiday!

Thanks for the info on the Arisnoe. One more question is there anywhere to walk in the evenings, could you walk into Limassol.
Thanks

Yup. You can walk right along the sea front of limassol where you will pass all the resturants, cafes and bars. All the attractions are pretty spread out so i wouldn%26#39;t really say their was a main centre of limassol. A stroll along the sea front %26amp; you will see all the attractions %26amp; night life.
Hope you enjoy your holiday! If you would like to ask anything else feel free %26amp; il do my best to help! Cheers.

Try a Cypriot Brandy Sour at Mianco%26#39;s bar next to the hotel. Excellent price and quality. If you write to the Cyprus Tourist Office in London they will send you maps and guide books to make your visit really good. These are free publications and recently they have new titles and are well worth reading.
Limassol has three areas, the old town which used to be dead in the evenings but has been revCTitalised and is now a good place to visit. It is about 10Km from your hotel but you could go by bus and back by taxi to save some Euros.
Then comes the tourist area with touristy restaurants and disco bars.
Thirdly the Amathus region which is slightly more expensive but with a good range of tavernas from Cypriot to Japanese, Mexican to Chinese. Arsinoe is inbetween the last two areas and you could probably walk to either.
CTO is at 17 Hanover Street, London, W1S 1YP and their phone number is 0207 569 8800. I found them very helpful and friendly.
