Car Hire

Can anyone advise if it is best to hire car out in Cyprus or book here in the UK?

We booked out there with Petsas and found it cheaper than our friends that had booked on the internet with the same company before leaving but if you check there web page it shows it cheaper to do it before leaving, so don%26#39;t really make any sense suppose if they lure you to book before leaving you cant shop around as much.

Forget web sites, holiday companies, hotels. Get the Yellow Pages in Cyprus,and deal with small firms.

we use Petsas and always book early via the phone as we get a better deal with them. if you become a regular with them they usually give you a better car than you book as they do look after their regulars.

we hire from the airport and return to Ayia Napa then use local transport mid holiday and then have the car back near the end picking up from Ayia Napa and return to Airport (we don%26#39;t need a car for the whole time)

We usually use Petsas and book before we go. Email and ask for their best price and then compare. Don%26#39;t forget they include CDW with no excess, for bookings over 7 days, and an additional driver. A lot of the other companies want extra money for these. Also you don%26#39;t have to pay for the tank of petrol(+ the service charge) with them which is another bonus, just bring the car back full and they give you a refund.
