Choice of hotel in Protaras

I need some advice regarding a choice of hotel in Protaras for one week at the end of June. We are two families consisting of a total of four adults and five children (ages 1,6,8,9,and 12), so we need two rooms/apartments. We have been looking at Kapetanios, Anastasia, Iliada and Tsokkos Gardens. The pool of the Tsokkos Gardens looks beautiful and they offer apartments next to the hotel, which are much more spacious than a hotel room. Any suggestions?

try marlita beach they cater for families and couples and its apartments the pool is good and you look right on to the beach the food at the snack bar around the pool is also ok they have a large area for sunbeds if you dont want to be right next to pool area or if you choose to stay elsewhere you can also use pool, sunbeds at marlita beach quite alot of places let you do that as they are owned by the same company (tsokkas hotels)there is an english girl who works at the snack bar her name is sam she lives in cyprus with her husband and family she is very helpful if you want to know anything or how to get something

Thanks for the information. I am still undecided because my wife doesn%26#39;t want to stay in the hustle and bustle of things. Regarding the car hire you requested advice for in another post, I recommend Kostas (tel. 00357 2383 4044) or George (Tel. 00357 9962 5141). They own the best priced companies. Tell them that Adrian from Malta gave you these numbers and they will do a good deal for you. I have found Petsas to be the most expensive.

Take a look at The Domniki aparthotel in Pernera. Its in a quiet location directly onto the beach. Its featured on the Olympic web site.

I%26#39;ve just booked a car with Economy Car Rentals - pick up and drop off at Larnaca - two weeks for 256euros. Considering the price of a return taxi is 120 euros I don%26#39;t think thats a bad price.

You definitely an excellent price. I got a 7 seater from George mentioned above for 300 Euro for 8 nights and Kostas has offered two small cars for 195 Euro each for the same duration. I will check about the Domniki. Thanks - Adrian

I have stayed at both Tsokkos Gardens Hotel and apartments. The hotel is lovely but the rooms a wee bit cramped. The apartments could now be doing with a bit of a face lift, but spacious. On the other side of the hotel Tsokkos has other apartments Sun Gardens that have been updated more recently. The one bedroom apartments pool side have patio doors from both lounge area and bedroon. You can also use all the hotel facilities.
