Hi All , Just joined up this is great ,I love Cyprus and have been to Protaras four times,I am all booked up for June next Year in the Ketsios Apartments but cant quite place them on the main road,I understand they are not far From Ayios Elias church so have a rough idea,can anyone please tell me anything about them,we are two adults with two teenage girls 18 %26amp; 14 .Have%26#39;nt been since 2005 so have still to experience the Euro yet in Cyprus,hope its not too expensive,and looking forward to see seeing my friend Jimmy in the Bells bar again.

i have stayed there, there more or less opposite the brilliant apartments on the back road very close to the medical centre

My husband and I stayed in the Ketsios apartments in May 2007, we had a fantastic time. The most relaxing week ever, and we have travelled all over the world.
The apartments are basic, but they have a cooker (with oven!) not just a little hot plate like you get in most self catering places.
You get a toaster, kettle and microwave in the kitchen. We had an apartment at the rear of the property on the top floor with a HUGE balcony, the views were fantastic and we spent a few nights out there with a bottle of wine putting the world to rights.
It is basic decor and facilities but the family that own it are great, their snacks are very tasty and it is a stone throw from the main street bars and restaurants. 10 minutes to beach.
Totally recommend.
Cheap but VERY cheerful.

I haven%26#39;t stayed there personally but my parents stayed there when I got married in Cyprus 3 years ago. They loved it, they were there with my sister and her daughter (she was 3 at the time). We went over to see them a couple of times and it was lovely, small, but very clean and friendly. The only thing that has put myself and my husband off staying there when we go this year was that the bar wasn%26#39;t always open late into the evening and we tend to like to call in the hotel bar on the way back from a night out. That said your girls will probably be out in the bars on the main strip anyway! Other than that though couldn%26#39;t fault it. Have a brilliant time!
