wedding

Hi, we are travelling to Cyprus to get married on the 6th May having reception at Ficardos staying at the aquamare hotel any ideas how far it is away and has anyone got photos of ficardos please would be grateful. Have heard Ficardos is excellent. Also is the aquqmare a good hotel. Brian and nic blloyd0801@hotmail.com

Hi Brian and Nic,

I was in Ficardos recently speaking to the manager. His name is Nicolas I think. His wife seems to do a lot of the cooking (I think!). He introduced me to his wife whom was cooking in the kitchen. He%26#39;s a lovely lovely bloke and very down to earth. They have two dogs.

Aquamare is at the end of the hotel strip. To walk from Aquamare to Ficardos (also on the same hotel strip/road) is about 20 minutes tops if you are walking at a leisurely pace.

You will this restaurant. It is quite cosy and has a very good ambience!

just to update you Yes they do have 2 dogs and 2 cats.

The 2 dogs are kept upstairs on the 2st floor apt and the 2 cats never get off the barrel thats positioned in the corner of the quadrant area. Have spoken to Nicolas regarding majority of people including myself that do not like eating a meal and cats prowling the tables, he has taken this suggestion on board and if he sees them they will be chased

The aquamare is a lovely hotel, we stayed there last year and are going back in June this year, we have stayed in quite a few hotels in cyprus and we thought this was the best. We saw quite a few wedding receptions when we were there last year, and a childrens birthday party in the gardens, popular hotel with cypriots.
