going on holiday for a week in october half term want somewhere warm where we can swim in the sea and am deciding between cyprus and crete any info appreciated, thanks!

Genrally a good month weather wise. The very hot heat has gone and the evenings are starting to get cooler, but still warm. The sea is still warm enough for swimming but pools are genrally alot cooler.

If you want to swim in the sea I think Cyprus would be a better bet than Crete in late October.

Cyprus the sea is warmer and a much better island, if you want any more info just ask i have been 21 times and going back in 8 weeks.
