Just a note on heated pools to those that are not aware.
I have just been to see an English family who have rented a rather smart villa for two weeks through a Cypriot agent. They are very happy with the villa but are very upset that the pool is not warm enough to swim in. The pool is heated from 5pm through to 9am 7 days a week up until the end of May.
The temp of the pool is at a constant 17c during the colder months and genrally rises to 20c during May.This is the maximum temp of an average size villa pool in Cyprus that is heated. They were under the impression that the pool would be heated to the same temp as an indoor which is very difficult to achieve.
In short not all heated pools in Cyprus are as warm as people may think, the heat generated is designed to take the chill off but not provide a bath like experience.
