Paralimni wedding june 09 - where to have wedding dinner????

Hi everyone,

We are getting married in Paralimni town hall on 19th june, and are only bringing around 8 guests at the most. We went to Cyrus last year on holiday and stayed in Pernera (we are staying there again this year too). We%26#39;ve pretty much got everything sorted for the wedding, but don%26#39;t know where to hold our wedding dinner after. Any ideas or recommendations would be excellent. We wouldn%26#39;t mind something traditionally Cypriot. I remember going to Romeo%26#39;s in Protaras last year and loved the food and the dancers.

Thanks in advance for all your help, Lauren x

Hi there

I%26#39;m sorry but I cannot offer any info on places in dine in Cyprus as I%26#39;ve never been before!

I too am getting married in Cyprus on 23rd June at Derynia Folklore Museum (just to two of us!) and staying at Anais Bay Hotel in Pernera. I was wondering if you%26#39;ve booked everything yourself rather than a tour operator wedding or wedding planner, could offer me any advise on things like local hair/beauty services, bakery for a cake and nice places for photos.

Any info would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Hi Lauren

Romeos has had a complete refurb ready for this season I haven%26#39;t any pics yet to show as I am waiting on Andrew to come back from the UK. but they are focusing on wedding partys more this year. I do however have the menus for this year.

Hi all,

Thank you so much for the comments. We booked Romeo%26#39;s again this year, now 11 people are coming. We loved it there last year and Andrew had said that they are having Cyprus night on a Friday too this season. He couldn%26#39;t have been more helpful. We are really looking forward to it, only 7 weeks away now.

As there was so few people going we actually booked everything ourselves, it is more personal and you get this great feeling, I just can%26#39;t wait until the day.

Romeo%26#39;s food is lovely, we have picked the meze for everyone which will be good, and we have arranged a wedding cake through them and champagne too.

Thanks again for all your replies.

Lauren xx
