Hi,
We have hired a villa on this complex for June and Im just wondering if anybody knows where they are and how close they really are to the beach and the costal path to Protaras.
Also, we are hiring a car from the airport, is this area easy to find? We have never driven in Cyprus before.
If you know of anywhere/ anything nearby we should go to or do, please let me know. We are traveling with our 2yr old boy and the in-laws.
I am getting very excited now!
Many thanks.

You will be in central Pernera very close to all amenities and only a few minutes to the beach and the new coastal path which looks lovely. There is a lovely little cafe on the coastal path called Zafiros which does very nice food and drinks. Driving is very easy in Cyprus, same side of the road as the UK but make sure you stick to the speed limits as instant fine if you get caught. Sorry I am hopeless at giving actual directions but it is very easy to get from Larnaca to Pernera - your hire company should give you a map but basically when you exit the airport get on the road to Ayia Napa - the roads are really clearly signposted.
Beaches in the area are lovely and very safe for children. There is a new attraction in Pernera %26quot;the Red Bus Tour%26quot; which picks up in Pernera then onto Protaras, Ayia Napa and then to the surrounding villages and up to the %26quot;green line%26quot; which gives you an insight into Cyprus - really worth doing. The Troodos mountains are lovely but not sure if a 2 year old will sit still long enough in a car! Small waterpark nearby. Lots of restaurants in Pernera. Lovely harbour area near The Golden Coast Hotel where you can pick up a boat trip up to Famagusta and then down to Cape Greko. As you are hiring a car a trip to Konnos Bay would be lovely - only 10 minutes drive midway between Protaras %26amp; Ayia Napa Beautiful bay with banana shaped sunbeds which float on the sea. Ayia Napa also has some lovely beaches and a much larger water park. Paralimni is a year round working village 15 minutes drive from Pernera and well worth having a look at. Beautiful church in the square. Orphanides is the main supermarket on the way to Paralimni although there is also a very good supermarket in Pernera - L %26amp; G which is opposite The Jolly Waiter taverna where you can stock up if you are self catering.
Have a lovely time - I shall be back there first two weeks in June and can%26#39;t wait!
