continuation from my earlier report,after a couple of weeks observation........
the cyprus adventure starts here,this group (all english) with over 20yrs island experience,aim to please and do things differently.
they basically do group bookings,but in recent weeks have attracted individuals,couples and families.why?
there prices! and activities.after a lot of market research,they have put together packages,that are affordable and adventurous.
rdj have done there homework,when other tour companies,charge ��30 approx (depending where you are on the island) to visit just famagusta or kyrenia (on the northside of the island ) on separate days.rdj do the above plus salamis and bellapais monastery on the same excursion for ��20,and wait! children 16 and under go for half price (the only company on the island that does this,the rest are 12 and under) on all but a few of there excursions.
rdj,adventure days include shooting,diving,go karts ,powerboats,fishing,water sports,golf,to name but a few and the twist to the tail is rdj is the company behind quad bike safari,which is talk of the island and ive seen a few reviews on this forum about it,visit www.quadbikesafaricyprus.com
all the above adventure days are very well priced for instance,on the beach (again depending where you are on the island) jetskiing ��22,paragliding ��18,banana boat ��5,quad biking ��35.with rdj all this plus packed lunch and a barbeque at the end of the day ��50!!!
nothing is a problem for the lads,in recent weeks ive witnessed many satisfied clients and in particular one bride and goom,who thought there wedding day was in tatters,until rdj stepped in.
rdj also market for independent travellers,offering cheap accommodation in cyprus (ayia napa,2wks in august ��400 sterling).
how/why they do it!
rdj,through good contacts,both here and in the uk,have seen for many years holiday makers getting poor value for money and want/are going to change that.they mostly operate on the east side of the island,but i think that will change soon,they have created a network amongst local cypriots and convinced them,that ripping people off is no sure way to make money and give the island a bad name for being expensive.

well ive enjoyed my time with the lads and girls and wish them every success and the answer to huggyones question in my last report is, so far theyve been on national radio,in the national press and just finished off a documentary for national tv and il let you know what mags there are in when i get back to the uk.

you forgot to mention big andy,for those who dont know him,hes one of there drivers with the looks of odd job (from james bond) and the witty charm of peter kay

because the entertain/trips they put on for my grandchildren was out of this world,never had to worry about a thing

Where do we find them? Do they have an office. How do you book them. We are going to Pernera on the 6th July and plan to do quite a few trips this time instead of just lying on the beach but normally book any trips from one of the tour companies on the main street in Pernera

just arrived back from cyprus and had a great time.this company did save me money,as a single traveller i emailed them prior to my arrival,they arrange my transfer from the airport, which along with a few other people i was amazed at the cost.��14 return to protarus.
i also did a few of there adventure days and i must admit adding the cost of what other people charge,i did save quite a bit with them and that also included the transport from protaras.
being a quad bike fanatic,they have got what i consider to be one of the best operations in europe and very well priced. all in all they are english with a very layed back style and from what ive seen they will go very very far as they are honest and dont rip people off, unlike some tour operators.

having just returned from cyprus these guys deserve a big thank you,for everything they have done for us.
our transfer from the airport was spot on and cheap,none of this waiting around for other people and we were checking into our hotel within 40mins in protarus.
these adventure days they do are real value for money and exciting and a must if you go cyprus as they do save you loads of money.
once again thanks lads for a wonderful holiday.
