solo traveller

oh dear

going to kapparis next thursday - however friend is civil servant in dept health and caught up with this swine flu and 99% sure she%26#39;s not gonna get away on holiday :(

however i%26#39;m still gonna go on my own because i just have to get away and have been looking forward to it for ages.

so my question is will i be able to amuse myself and manage to enjoy myself - what about eating out will i just end up looking like a sad loser sitting reading a book while eating dinner!!

any suggestions for things to do on my own - trips etc - i really wanted to do the 4x4 into the troodos mountains would i be able to do that on my own??

You could certainly do the 4 x 4 trip as a solo traveller - in fact any trip - its a pretty good way to mix. Take a boat trip - you soon get talking to people. If you are outgoing and generally mix easily you won%26#39;t have a problem in Cyprus - the Cypriots are very friendly.

i must admit i am a bit stressed about going on my own but i think i%26#39;ll just organise a few trips and take it from there!
