Sunrise Beach

We have decided to book the Sunrise Beach but are unsure whether to book b%26amp;b or half board. We do like to eat out and I wondered if there was an option to eat in the hotel on various occasions.

Does anyone know if the building work has started yet, I guess it wouldn%26#39;t go on during the summer months anyway.

Is it worth upgrading to a full sea view? I know it will probably cost just that bit more but would be worth it for the view itself I guess.

Ive stayed there, fab hotel and yes you can upgrade on a daily basis to halfboard, so you can please yourself each night. We were on the third floor over reception with a side sea view and it was fine, i would rather have the rooms directly above the pool, you dont want the rooms at the back of the hotel near road as yoy will get some noise from the bars etc

We went there last year and loved it, so much that were going back this year. The building work hadn%26#39;t started last July and have no idea whether it has or not over the winter? we stayed in a side sea view and found it perfect. Yes a sea view would be nice but I%26#39;m not sure if it%26#39;s worth the extra, personal choice really. There is definitely the option of eating at the hotel as they do deals e.g pay for 3 nights and get the 4th free etc. in fact we are thinking of doing that this year ourselves.

We stayed here in 2006 (B%26amp;B) and had a side sea view room, the view from there was nice, there was a little noise from some of the bars on the strip. The full sea view rooms would be lovely, but it was a good bit extra when we went.

There was an option to eat HB in the hotel and even just pay on the nights you wanted to eat there. We never did as there are lots and lots of restaurants in Protaras and Pernera.

It was a lovely hotel, have a nice holiday!

Hi

We stayed here in 2006 and had a side sea view but spent a couple of nights upgraded in a full sea view (we got married there so wanted to stay in a slightly nicer room for a couple of nights) i would say it is worth paying the extra as personally i don%26#39;t think the side sea views are worth what you pay for them so if you can afford it i%26#39;d do it.

On the food front I would wait until you get there, there are so many nice restaurants you wont have time to try them all!

Enjoy your holiday its a lovely hotel!

Hi

We have booked Sunrise Beach for this summer too. First time in Cyprus and was also wondering about upgrading to half board as people keep telling me how expensive the restaurants are. Was wondering what the average charge per head would be in the restaurants in Protaras? Thanks x

The meals cost us between 50 and 60 euros for 4 adults, for a main meal and 1 drink each
