Hi all,
anybody have any experiences with the Hilton Cyprus in Nicosia? They claim to have facilities for kids? Really any experience will do.
Thanks,

Not sure about the facilities for kids but it is a fantastic hotel with a really nice big pool also not far from the old city walls

I take it the closer to the city walls the better? Thanks for the feedback. When I am there what would you recommend us seeing in Nicosia, I am pretty much set for the rest of Cyprus, but Nicosia is something of a black hole for me.
Thanks,

Hi Raz
It%26#39;s pretty much the same for me as well but Nicosia is a beautiful city, I cannot suggest any place in particular but to suggest you head for the old city walls and have a good walk round. On Ledra st you can walk over to north nicosia but take your passport, the difference will open your eyes

Hello,
My dad and partner were lucky enough to have a free night at the Hilton last May after delays by their tour operator. He was amazed by it! He raved on and on about the food, how many chefs were there and how nice the place was. Infact, I think it was the highlight of his holiday, even though they had been in Cyprus for my wedding. Ha ha!
The only not so good thing was the price of drinks at the bar but even my Dad didnt mind paying them in such lovely surroundings.

No, I wouldn%26#39;t call the Cyprus Hilton a very family friendly or oriented hotel. Any children you may find are from local families which are members of its health club, using the swimming pool.
