Hotels near to Coral Beach hotel and resort?

don%26#39;t know if anyone can help me. My brother in his wisdom has decided to get married in Cyprus this May. The wedding and some guests are staying at the Coral Beach Resort. However, I really don%26#39;t want to pay the price asked at this hotel as it is as much as I pay in 5 star hotels all inclusive for 2 weeks in Egypt and still want to do this in summer.

Can anyone tell me any hotels that are within a reasonable distance of the Coral Beach resort where I might be able to stay at a more reasonable cost.

Thanks alot will take a look, I seem to be going around in circles searching on web because I don%26#39;t know the area so could end up miles away from the hotel.

They are getting married at St Georges Chapel do you know if any of the hotels are near to there?

The Corallia Beach hotel/apartments is your best bet.It%26#39;s also one of the best value accomodations in the area in my opinion.You%26#39;ll find it on the Thomson website and i would recommend a sea view room.

I meant to add it%26#39;s the nearest hotel to the Coral Beach resort hotel,some of the half board guests used the resort hotel for some of thier meals.It%26#39;s a short walk either along the beach/path or the main road.

Use the map link from Kev to see location of hotels- St Georges is on the way to Coral Bay, quite a way out of Paphos main harbour area but the buses run along this road so quite easy to get around and, speaking from experience, sometimes its nice to be a bit away from all the wedding hullaballo!! But if you stay near St Georges you will have to travel both to Coral Bay and to Paphos, I would go for nearer Coral Bay.

Thanks, that%26#39;s really useful to know. I don%26#39;t want to be miles away from my family, but a short walk would be fine, I was hoping for somewhere where I could join them all there if I wanted to. I%26#39;m going to check it out.

Don%26#39;t know if I am being fussy but I%26#39;ve looked at the Corallia Hotel/apartments and it doesn%26#39;t get fab reviews and some of the pics are very dodgy so I think I will look else where.

I%26#39;ve opened the map link that kev sent but I don%26#39;t seem to be able to see the Coral beach Hotel %26amp; Resort on there, so I%26#39;m taking it that I%26#39;m best looking at other hotels around the Corallia to be near to where my family will be.

There are no hotels near to the Corallia apart from the Coral Beach resort.You need to head back into Coral Bay itself where you%26#39;ll find the Crown Horizon,Ascos Coral and the Thalassa.The latter costs as much per day as most of the others per week.The Crown Horizon is probably your best bet price wise if you don%26#39;t want the Corallia and the nearest hotel to CBR apart from the Corallia.There are plenty of private villas in the Coral Bay area but be prepared to pay top dollar for them,in saying that it will probably cost less all in compared to half board in a hotel.
