Limassol is more touristy and bigger city than Larnaca. If you decide to say in Limassol there are three areas to choose that depends what you are looking for. If you are youmg looking for nightlife better area is the area around four seasons and mediterranean hotel which is also most touristy. There is also the amathus area (elias beach hotel, Grand hotel) but is a little far away from main shops but quiter and posh area. The other option is the city center if you like walking and shopping and old shops and buildings.Better stay in a hotel that is on the beach. If you are interested you can go a trip to see some ruins outside of Limassol or just stay to the city walk along the sea, see the amathus ruins or the castle, go shopping in city center or relax on the beach as the weather will be sunny and warm.

You haven%26#39;t mentioned which star rating of hotel you wanted. Elias Beach 4* is very convenient because you can take the No.30 bus from the New Port at Limassol right to the door of the hotel, under 2 euros, or a taxi will be about 15 - ask before you get in. Elias is the furthest end from the old town but is the shortest ride to get to Larnaca the following day. Navarria Beach and Arsinoe are 3*, then you have Four Seasons, Amathus, Grand all 5*.
