Only one market, indoor in the old town, fruit, veg, fish etc. Shopping is all over Limassol, the main centre has all the usual high street shops. Makarios Ave has all the smaller shops, Fendi, Armani, Boss, Gucci (all genuine) you guess the rest. A nice shopping centre called the Agora with a nice Lacoste shop (sale in August) and a nice indoor cafe, across the road is a lovely shaded garden cafe.
Carrefour is just outside the centre, two floors food, drink, clothes and homewares. Then you have the tourist area shops, and more tourist shops on St Andrews St in the old town. You need energy to shop in Limassol it can be a bit spread out and in August it will be very hot. Top tip: two shops then a cool drink and so on and so on.
A taxi from the Atlantica will take no more the 10 minutes to the main shops.

Good choice of hotel, you won%26#39;t be dissapointed,

Limassol has a street called Anexartisias with various small shops in the street and in the near streets. Not brands, but prices are not the cheapest since its the most known road with shops.
Makariou avenue has all the brand shops.
Makariou avenue also has a debenhams and you can also find one on the sea road which is very nice to walk especially now that the weather is sunny but not too hot.
Carrefour can be found on Spyros Kyprianou avenue, also known as Akademias avenue, but I would recommend Debenhams instead of Carrefour.
This month there will also be the opennings of the Tiffany%26#39;s mall near Zakaki/New harbour.
Limassol doesn%26#39;t have that many tourists compared to Pafos and Agia Napa so if you stay clear from the tourist shops you won%26#39;t be overcharged.
If you need any other recommendations let me know.

Sorry if my post is a bit hard to read. There were pargraphs when I pasted the info in. LOL.

If you like leather goods and especially handbags there are some good handbag shops in Limassol. I always buy mine there every time I go. Cheaper than UK and the quality is much better unless of course you are wanting a Radley one!!!!

There is a Boot Sale at Linopetra on Saturdays which is mainly new things, some complete rubbish but always interesting to see. There is another one on Sundays at Kolossi.
Carrefours is in the Columbia area just off from Germasogeia roundabout. Quite close to the area you are staying in.
Larnaca and Nicosia are easily accessible by local bus from the seafront road and very reasonable prices. Nicosia as the capital has a market and also excellent shops.

Let%26#39;s be honest the Linopetra Boot is total rubbish and most of the stuff can be bought elsewear at cheaper prices. Fasouri Flee market again not worth the trip (IMO), alot of second hand paperback books and the odd home made bits and pieces.
The best market in Cyprus is Trimiklini, no clothes, but fruit, veg, honey, local wine, nuts and so on, but it%26#39;s 25 minutes from Limassol in the mountains.
