Before you ship, make sure you are fully aware of the import costs, as they can mount up to quite a lump of money (depends on age of car)

Cheapest shipping is from southampton (open not containerised)

Have a contact No in cyprus who can help, do you need it?

Expensive, do your homework. In alot of cases it can work out cheaper to buy in Cyprus.

As leica has mentioned but for one thing it depends on a number of factors

1) If you know your car is worth it mechanically sound

2) If it is upto 1600cc

then it is worth bringing it over, if it is a higher cc then it will cost a damn sight more in registration, tax and import duty, again cyprus is charging people or was for bringing in their own cars when you are allowed to bring your car over.

example in 2007 I shipped my 1600cc Hyundai Coupe from southampton on the roll-on roll-off for £375, picked it up at Limassol and I had to pay a shipping agent with goverment seal before I could drive away for CYP250, then paid CYP245 for the registration at the transport office.

So really it cost me just under a grand to bring it in and must say well worth it

Just remember if it is 1800cc or over the fee%26#39;s go up very very sharpely as well as Road tax, My friend has a Pedjero 2800cc and he pays somewhere between €400 - 500
