Paphos Municipal Beach

We are coming to Paphos for two weeks in September, i just wondered if someone could tell me how big is the municipal beach, i%26#39;ve been trying find pictures of it online but can%26#39;t seem to find may and the ones i have found it seems a very small beach.

We love the beach and i%26#39;m a bit worried that it will be too small!!

Any info would be appreciated.

There are two municipal beaches in the Paphos area (that I know of!) and one is opposite Aloe hotel and one is on the way to the Harbour next to the Ta Mbania restaurant/cafe, which is 1 minute away from the McDonalds. You cannot miss it.

The one opposite Aloe is medium size I%26#39;d say. Please bear in mind, beaches are nothing like the ones in Miami!! Not miles and miles long! It%26#39;s a very nice beach.

The one close to McDonalds doesn%26#39;t have a sandy beach front. You can hire sunbeds and umbrellas and just wade into the sea at one section. There is a diveboard at another part of the public beach, accompanied by stairs on either side of it. I go there nearly every day in the summer.

Another public beach that i know of, is pebbly but its sandy once you wade in. It is in Yeroskipou. Just follow signs for the beach in Yeroskipou after you passed the last hotel (Phartheon) on the Poeisidion road.

If you aren%26#39;t impressed by the beaches in Paphos head out to Coral Bay on the bus (1.50 E each way and about a 20 to 30 min bus ride) but don%26#39;t go to the Coral Bay main beach head further down the road to the Corallia Beach. It isn%26#39;t so crowded and is cleaner and altogether nicer.
