Hi, we are off to Cyprus next week, is it best to take Euro%26#39;s with you, or can you get a better deal out there?

I would get enough € to see you through a day or so and then exchange it over here

Thanks Kev, do you know what the current rate is out there?

hi

can you just go in any bank with your credit card and get euros or do you have to have travellers cheques and do you need id

Worth mentioning that the rate%26#39;s been improving over the last few days, so might be better to exchange over there if the pound continues to strengthen.

It is better to get a load of STerling pounds in your pocket. Go to a bank here and exchange them. If you use a card, some companies might charge you for using the card abroad.

Bring a passport too just in case. You need passport if you are using travellers cheques.
