Can anyone recomend a good reliable car hire comany and how much roughley it would cost to hire for 2 weeks i would like to pick up and drop off at airport at larnaca i am going 1st 2wks in sept

Have a look at www.economycarrentals.com. Read quite a lot of favourable reports about them on the eastern cyprus form - quite a number of ex pats seem to recommend them so I%26#39;m going to give them a try this year. In the past I%26#39;ve used Platon, Windflower, Doros, Hertz and all have been good hire companies apart from Hertz which avoid like the plague! I%26#39;ve also had a quote this year from Petsas but they were almost 100 euros more expensive. If you can get a decent deal it makes sense to hire -taxis are now so expensive.

We got ours through a company in Protaras gorentacar.com.cy which was recommended by the villa owner that we have rented from. It appears to be a good deal compared to others that I have seen on the web and they are delivering and picking up from Larnaca airport!

Try www.cheapcarhirecyprus.com they are a small family firm based near the Malama apartments in Pernera
