a little help please

Hello to all.

We are coming to Cyprus in May. We are taking my mum so we have gone self catering as then we are not stuck to any times (making in flexible for mum) We have never done this before and we were wondering if you need to take towels etc.

Sorry to be a nuisance but not really sure what to expect.

Thanky you very much.

You will have to give a little more info - are you going with a tour op or independently ? Name of apartments ? Usually if you go with a company you get towels in bathroom, changed daily, twice a week, etc etc.

Hi,

I have used self catering apartments before. If I were you, I would take the following:

1) Towels for sink and bath/shower use.

2) Kitchen towels.

3) Coffee and tea. Cheaper to buy them in the UK if you like your UK brands. And UK brands are better!

4) Hair dryer if you use it.

5) Plug adapter if your electrical appliance%26#39;s plug uses 2 %26#39;legs%26#39; instead of 3.

Bed linen and sheets should be provided. The bathroom should have a shaving socket provided. The kitchen section will have the crockery and culinary expected as well as cooking appliances. All you need to do is to buy the food.

If your room has a balcony, expect a table and chairs. Bring over some books, puzzles and games. Scrabble is a good one!

In all the years I have been going on holiday I have never needed towels for bath/shower.You might want to take a couple of tea towels though but even the smaller supermarkets stock most washing up items.

You won%26#39;t need to take towels. Apartments leave fresh towels either daily or every other day although they are not always of good quality. Just take beach towels and tea towels.

Thank you all. We are going with Thomas Cook to the Mayfair apartments
