Excusrsions things to do!?

Can you let me know what excursions are good? e.g Days out on boat, waterpark, island hopping etc?

No island hopping I%26#39;m afraid. Good days out - waterpark in Ayia Napa, any boat trip (there%26#39;s been a fire today at Ayia Napa harbour and quite a few boats burnt out). The Raptor boat ride is a thrill but any boat trip really up offshore of Famagusta and down to Cape Greko for snorkelling. A trip to the Troodos in a 4 x 4 off road safari is really good - a long day but you get to see sights of Cyprus only mountain goats can reach. Trip to Nicosia. You don%26#39;t say when you are going but if its during the very hot months of July/August remember Nicosia is much hotter than the coast and you will boil. The Red Bus trip which leaves Protaras and picks up in Napa - takes you round the little villages and right up to the %26quot;green line%26quot;. I believe they may now be able to cross the line to Famagusa itself. Hire a car and get out and about. Go and see the view point at Derynia across the UN buffer zone. All very interesting. Lovely beaches in Ayia Napa and beautiful clear water.

Are they any quad bikes/buggies for hire? Crazy golf? etc... Thanks

yup. all that...

Don%26#39;t forget to visit Cape Greko. Beautiful national reserve area.

Visit the Protaras and Paralimni beaches. They are absolutely gorgeous.

Do try to make a day trip to Paphos. This is town is worth it more than Limassol or Larnaca. These two towns are more Cypriot cosmopolitan, not designed for tourists. But leaning towards tourism nevertheless by building new marinas and new ports.

For a change of scenery, go to Troodos mountains. Visit the Caledonian Falls!

Have a good holiday! Leah :)

Hi,

There are loads of places to hire quad bikes and buggies. Just beware of the cypriot taxi and coach drivers as they believe that they are the only ones on the road!!!!

The waterpark is a great day out, you have the bungee jump at Nissi Beach and the Sling Shot in Napa, both fun if you can stomach them (before the beer!)I agree that the Raptor boat trip is a good one, they include free transfers in the price.

There are loads of watersports at Napa %26amp; Nissi Beach! Drive round Cape Greko where there are some cliff jumps if you dare!

Lots of trips further away ie the Troodos, Aphrodites Rock etc if you want to go further.
