rough idea for spending money :-/

hi can anyone advise how much spending money i would roughly need...

i am going for 9nights and we will prob be drinking 2-3 nights out of that and just be spending money at a restaurant each night and spend 1 day at the water park!!??

I would tend to budget minimum for 100GBP per day and take a credit card just in case of emergencies. Its amazing how money slips through your fingers on holiday and you come home with nothing to show for it except a good suntan!

thankyou.. think i am only going to be able to afford £500 for both of us.. i will take a credit card but dont really want to use it!! so am gonna be have to be good and not waste my money like i normally would on silly things on holiday :-/

£100 per day sounds about right for two of you. We budgetted about £120 - £140 each day that for a family of four last year when the pound was 120 to the euro. Now with the poor exchange rate you will need more. The water park was quite pricey, but if you want to go more than once like we did it is cheaper to buy a %26quot;double ticket%26quot; rather than a separate ticket for each visit. They have a website with special offers on which was where I spotted the offer before I left home. The offer was not well publicised at the park!! So take a look before you go, can%26#39;t remember the websit address but I just put Aphrodite Waterpark Paphos Cyprus into the search engine and it found it.

if you don%26#39;t eat at the restaurants on Nissi Avenue and try some of the local towns like Paralimni, and pernera your money will go further, be careful about the Cypriots touting for business on the steps the nicer bars don%26#39;t have anyone on the door and a more relaxed atmosphere

there is a nice bar 100 yards up on the right hand side as you walk up from nissi ave which we frequent when in town does good food at good prices
