Building works next to Silver Sands???

We have just receieved a letter from our tour operator informing us of building work being undertaken next to the silver sands hotel...

Does anyone know how extensive this work is and how close to the hotel it is?

Any information on this matter would be great.

If you are looking at the hotel from the beach they are building about 100 meters to the left. They started it about 2 years ago but they are very slow!

Would you say that the building works would affect our stay at Silver Sands?

Or would the building works not affect us?

Depending on how much work is going at the time I imagine the main problem would be noise. As the hotel is directly on the beach I cant imagine it will effect your day 2 day activities

when I stayed there last year it was going on and it never once affected me , never heard any noice and your in such a nice location that it does not affect the eye at all . however , this year could be a little different , without staying there my self I can not tell if how noisey etc , I would not worry your self , its such a lovely beach , your be down there most of the time lol
