Iliovasilema Restaurant

Hi,

Iliovasilema is now called Cafe Deck. No long a restaurant as such but a cafe.

The whole place has been redecorated, refurbished, upgraded and it looks really good.

I have no idea if the owners will still do wedding receptions at the venue. Does anyone know?

I just thought that people would like to know that this place is once again open.

Hi again,

I went to the Deck cafe-bar and I spoke to the manager/owner there. I have contact details which are:

Name: Charoula Kiriakou

Mobile Tel: 00357 99 524761

Cafe Tel: 00357 26 964104

Email: deckcafe@gmail.com

I asked about holding a wedding reception at the cafe and Charoula said the cafe can hold up to 40-50 people comfortably and the guests can be seated outside to enjoy the stunning sea views.

The sea views are really good!

I didn%26#39;t ask about prices. But I imagine that the prices are cheaper than of those at the hotels!

For those who have been to Paphos before, the cafe is found to the left of the Alexander the Great hotel and is only 2 minutes by foot from the Aloe Hotel.

Hi Leah

Can i ask you does it have a beach and is the land around the building flat? Odd question but i have a toddler who always seems to get into trouble and would just like somewhere he can run free and i can keep an eye on him easily!

Thanks

Hi,

This is not at the beach. The outer part of the cafe is built on stilts/column support. Previously the restaurant was built at the edge of a small rocky crop (Geographically speaking, very safe. It is hard rock).

The main part of the cafe itself is on the grounds. The car park is next to it.

The deck extends further than the building itself. I hope you understand what I%26#39;m trying to describe?

However, there is a pathway immediately next to the cafe which leads right to the beach. You can ask the guests to look after the children one by one.

The cafe is very spacious. I really really like this one.

Should you come to Paphos, you can seek out the owner and check out the place. The owner has blonde hair and big white sunglasses. You cannot miss her!
