This may come across as unhelpful, but it%26#39;s not meant to be. The TA search engine is actually a very good tool. If you type in %26#39;car hire paphos airport%26#39; it brings up page after page.

There also a thread still showing on page 1 of this forum with good recommendations and contact details.

Hope this helps as I see no-one has yet replied to your 2 posts on the subject.

Ive just booked my car for the 3rd year running with www.gorentacar.com.cy. Best value I can find on the internet and new cars. Overall great service. There is english staff who work for them over there aswell.

Have just rented from Europcar at Paphos Airport, they have a policy of charging you for a full tank of fuel (57 Euro at the desk if you have prepayed for your car Hire)and you must return the car empty as there is no refund for unused fuel.Is this what they mean by no hiden extras on there web site?

Has anyone Hired from Hertz at Paphos Airport? Do they have the same crazy policy ?

This policy of charging for full tank and no refund has become commonplace even with local car hire companies. We had one car couple of years ago where we paid for full tank upfront but if we returned it full then we got a refund- yes, but they refunded our credit card 3 months later only after a reminder to their Cyprus offices !

However - if you shop around ( and I sure folks on this site will advise) there are companies who will let you return car with same amount of fuel as when you pick up. Whether these will be the airport operators I am not sure. You have to check the small print on internet sites carefully. We found a local company and we just e mailed and said as our trips were local could we just pay for fuel used and they agreed.
