weddings in ayia napa

hi could anyone give me some advice i would like to get married in ayia napa town hall 2010 but im trying to find a hotel thats really nice and not far away from the town hall as i would like to hire the horse and carriage.. im on a tight budget and i looked at nissi beach resort becuause our 2 kids are coming with us and nearly died at the prices they quoted me to have the wedding in the gazeebo and i still had to add on accommodation!!!! im doing the wedding myself rather than going through an agency...so any advice would be fantastic

Just around the corner is a place called the New Fanagusta, it has apts. It was a post a few weeks ago that reminded me of when I stayed there and it was ideal in price as well as location, check it out, it won%26#39;t cist you anything except a phone call

Hi,

You can have a meze with your family and friends at a well recommended taverna. You can ask if the taverna owner will allow you to hire a DJ or any other forms of entertainment. The owner should be able to deck out the place in balloons, ribbons, confetti and flowers at a price.

My advice if it%26#39;s worth anything is if your on a tight budget, why in the hell would you want to hire a Horse and carriage, they are not cheap.

I am looking at booking our wedding independantly for may 2010 as tour ops apparantly not releasing holidays until July 2009 for next summer.... how did you go about it?

Just in case your not aware, my friends hired the horse and carriage from Adams beach (nr nissi beach) to the monastry in Ayia Napa and it cost approx £350

but if you do hire it, it was a lovely addition to the day
